Eccentric Light: Photography by John St. Germain

Why is this blog titled “Elite Toads”? Good question. Probably because I like the sound of it.

I’ll start this off with a simple hello.

I will then wax on about what you can expect to find here.

My name if John St. Germain. I’m a photographer, so you can imagine anything I wish to spend time writing about, and hope others read, will be related to the act of photographing something. It will also include product reviews (shameless grab for money)–no worries, the info is freely given. Hopefully you will find my insights worthy and follow links to Amazon and buy, buy, buy! Because you want to be a great as me, yes?. [This is where my friends kick me. I'm not really like that... I promise]

Please check back often as I will be busily typing up spellbinding prose; full of poor gramar, terrible spelling, and slightly intelligent meaning. I will be covering my equipment: Nikon D300, D80 and a selection of lenses, studio lighting (Novatron and a Nikon speedlight SB800) and a bunch of light modifiers and reflectors–all the important tools to get amazing shots.
